well, i’m done with work finally. since feb until sept. i think i’ve experienced a lot through this 6-7 months. late nights till 12am; learning a whole new system that i’ve not heard before; dunning about paying up; PR skills among colleagues; seeing how my supervisor manages a group of 5-6 ppl; production planning; vlookup, hlookup; etc. i’m thrilled to be given this chance to work among this group of people and develop through these couple of months.

moving on, a 6 day trip to macau/zhuhai. it was great you know. after working so long and then you get to go on a proper holiday. headed there with a sec friend whom also had been working. so it was kinda on the same boat thing. anyway, we saw what the flats in there looked like. helped new friends to move house over there. like seeing 3 humans squeezing into 1 room flat and shifting to a proper flat with 2 rooms and a living room; you could sense their joy and happyness. yeah, felt real excited for them man. yup, made a couple of friends there. in the future, may just visit them again!

i started to think that getting a partner isnt important like there are many other things i know i want to do in life. hahaha, ok maybe some could be done with a partner. but, you know it may not be something she wants. so its kinda on one’s own perceptive to follow. but yeah, it’s got me thinking already. OR MAYBE IM JUST TOO FREE AT HOME THINKING! HAHAHAHAHA

determination

a couple of guys were talking about eating supplements at the playground for muscle growth. yet, the most huge guy there it’s about determination. and i thought, how true. and the price has kept me away from these tiny, powerful tablets.

it’s exhausting when you dont have enough calories to get yourself going. lethargic and unable to push that extra rep and you know youre not in-form. but somehow, something still keeps me going. usain bolt, HAHA im kidding. but yea, i do look up to him. hard work and dedication made him the fastest man on road. deep hunger and passion for something which i want; cutting down the fats.

dieting sucks big time, especially when you see people around you eating the things you love, donuts, reese chocolate. its tough, but i will still get through it.

cause these are just physical pain which will go away; emotional pain(s) will stay in your mind forever as memories

Was listening to class 95 just now in my playground and they said write down 3 things that made you happy!

1) I finally carried 1 plate (20kg). i promise i wouldn’t swear in front of my parents but damn, it felt fcuking good i swear. (: sorry boys, endorphins…

2) As usual, wore my knee guard and this little girl holding her younger brother’s hand said in mandarin to her mom, my knee is injured. yeah, my chinese is real bad. but its nice you know, small lil gestures

3) Theoretically, it’s my last week of work. but i’m gonna extend. i don’t see how this is something that would make me happy. well, i guess it’s the cash that keeps me going

week was good. training hard each week, pushing out each rep even though blood rushes up your face in godspeed. the familiar faces you see everyday in this crib full of iron and the smell of grease. hearing one scream to push out that last bit of strength thy has. and the aunty who does the closing of gym asking me not to run so fast when she comes in to take out the trash. yes, this is a lonely sport/hobby. whatever you call it.

its good, i realized it’s keeping me from thinking about things; things which are hugely unexplained!

friday; company’s dinner! Massive turnout. 800 odd people? great entertainment and scumptious food. 5 stars without doubt!

saturday; went down IDP to look at a couple of uni’s to talk to uni’s representatives. narrow down my choices to maybe 3 u’s to target. was good just talking to strangers. especially new ones. managed to get a good 30-45mins out of this RMIT scientist. awesome stuff. i really want my february 2012 to come soon! (:

beautiful moments today. was at the bus stop and sticked out a tongue at this maybe 3 year old angmoh girl and she giggled/ as her bus drove off.

small gesture like this just completes your day!

its really a wonder how people do evaluate friendship. especially after the fact that when you sms 8 people a simple yes/no question; only 3 could give you a yes/no answer

i believe this is just a lack of respect in friendship especially when you do not even get a reply. what do we call this? selective answer? they should have this word in the dictionary man. thank god mom taught me manners from young to reply.

but this actually points out the fact;

i’ve learnt so much from my colleague today. making an effort know your friends, their traits, personalities, etc. i still think its great to understand what people think, feel. interaction is so important i feel. perhaps, people make decisions differently. well, everyone has their own choice to make; i guess.

and i realize that flowers arent just flowers. it could be one being too particular at this. but would you think its just flowers or what the flowers actually mean? every detail from how many stalks, what species, what colours, thorns/no thorns, etc. same goes for chocolates too.

oh, and what i lack so badly. courage. sincerity and courage are important. we musnt overlook ourselves as we criticise the people around us. instead, look at where we could have done better. Not PREACHING. often we do not take what people comment on us owing to the fact we cannot accept what people say most of the time.

well lets see… half of 2009 has passed. seriously, i dont even know what i’m doing. frankly speaking, i don’t even feel that half of it has past.

january , feb – i screwed up my FYP big time. enough said. though the amount of fun can’t be replace with anything. especially with the people around.

march – sigh, definitely my biggest regret of the year. missing out on coldplay’s concert. started my working life from end feb.

april – work

may – work

june – still working.

well, the thing is you could say i’m a no-lifer. i’ll admit that i am one. a weekday is waking up at 8. get to work at 9 and leave work at 11? get back home sleep. and this happens 5 times week. well, i dont wanna be called a douchbag or something. i need to fight for things, solve problems, push myself even harder. and perhaps, one day i will look back and say

“hey, those days that i had there were worth it”

couple of friends have gone serving the nation, couple of friends overseas, couple of friends lost contact. i miss them all. i wish Singapore could be a place where everyone were so friendly and gracious rather than being unappreciative and selfish. just a personal thought, no offence targeted at anyone.

caught just follow law, yes man and 16 blocks over the 2.5 days of long weekend. been to IT show and bumped into several friends. mom went for company trip again and i know she is tired from work. there are so many things in life which i wished i didnt need to make choice. perhaps, time has ran out.

being a kid is still the best.
